Bluenog ICE Collaboration

Bluenog ICE Collaboration includes two components, ICE Wiki™ and ICE Calendar™, that together provide an enterprise-class solution to your organization’s collaboration needs.

ICE Wiki enables users enterprise-wide to easily create and share content using inter-linked web pages. These pages can then be securely accessed through an intuitive Bluenog ICE Portlet. Based on the popular open source project JSPWiki, ICE Wiki has added wiki and page level permissions. This ensures users are only able to access those pages they’re authorized to based on their role. All ICE Wiki page content is subject to version control and full search capabilities. Attachments such as images can also be easily added and saved. Administrators can even track wiki usage with the extensive statistics and information ICE Wiki maintains on most recent pages visited, incoming and outgoing links.

ICE Calendar, a group calendaring application, provides the ability to create and maintain a suite of calendars with event publishing capabilities. Available as a Bluenog ICE Portlet, ICE Calendar is based on the widely-used open source project Bedework. It extends Bedework’s core functionality to enable secure, restricted access to calendars based on a user’s role and associated permissions. You can even create an integrated view of events from multiple Calendars related to different departments. Enhanced event publishing features include workflow support and the ability to define exceptions to recurring event series. ICE Calendar’s rich import, export and email capabilities enable it to seamlessly integrate with other calendar systems such as iCalendar.

ICE Wiki and ICE Calendar are available as part of Bluenog ICE™, a pre-integrated suite of content management, collaboration, portal and business intelligence software. A commercial product based on open source CMS, open source collaboration, open source portal and open source BI projects, Bluenog ICE is backed by comprehensive support, maintenance updates, upgrades and professional services. To minimize risk and further empower developers, customers are provided source code and indemnification.
