Inside Sales Representative

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Responsible for identifying prospects and growing revenue in the assigned territory – building consultative and long-term relationships with customers & partners.

General Responsibilities

  1. Generate qualified customer leads through cold calling, responding to in-bound leads and marketing promotions
  2. Close < $100K reseller deals quickly and efficiently
  3. Develop strong relationships and aids in the sales process for territory based Sales Directors
  4. Provide high level of customer service to potential and existing customers
  5. Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company
  6. Learn and understand company’s products, competitors and positioning within industries
  7. On-time submittal of weekly activity reports
  8. Use company CRM application to accurately track all activity and customer interaction
  9. Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action while working towards increased sales

Skills

  1. High tech; software experience preferred
  2. Proven record of over-achieving aggressive sales and activity goals
  3. Self-motivated and self-driven; able to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining consistently high activity
  4. Understanding of and ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing and somewhat entrepreneurial environment
  5. Ability to understand Bluenog’s technology and solutions and communicate value to prospective customers
  6. Strong telephone presentations skills; ability to listen well and to motivate and create sales opportunities
  7. Experience identifying, contacting and cold calling potential customers
  8. Able to quickly qualify potential customers using proven sales methodologies
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  10. Outstanding presentation and organizational skills
  11. Expertise in Microsoft Office
  12. Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices regularly
  13. Strong problem solving ability

Education/Training

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. Prior experience in Enterprise Software Sales and Solutions required (minimum 3 years)
