Inside Sales Representative

Location: Piscataway, NJ
Responsible for identifying prospects and growing revenue in the assigned territory – building consultative and long-term relationships with customers & partners.
General Responsibilities
- Generate qualified customer leads through cold calling, responding to in-bound leads and marketing promotions
- Close < $100K reseller deals quickly and efficiently
- Develop strong relationships and aids in the sales process for territory based Sales Directors
- Provide high level of customer service to potential and existing customers
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company
- Learn and understand company’s products, competitors and positioning within industries
- On-time submittal of weekly activity reports
- Use company CRM application to accurately track all activity and customer interaction
- Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action while working towards increased sales
Skills
- High tech; software experience preferred
- Proven record of over-achieving aggressive sales and activity goals
- Self-motivated and self-driven; able to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining consistently high activity
- Understanding of and ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing and somewhat entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to understand Bluenog’s technology and solutions and communicate value to prospective customers
- Strong telephone presentations skills; ability to listen well and to motivate and create sales opportunities
- Experience identifying, contacting and cold calling potential customers
- Able to quickly qualify potential customers using proven sales methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding presentation and organizational skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices regularly
- Strong problem solving ability
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in Enterprise Software Sales and Solutions required (minimum 3 years)
