Director of Product Development

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Responsibilities:
- Innovate and continuously improve Bluenog products and streamline development processes.
- Drive technical product design, and influence product requirements and testing methods.
- Help build out a world class Product Engineering Organization comprising of Product Management, QA, Customer Services, Support, and other development teams.
- Manage product and service delivery against conflicting priorities and resource constraints.
- Plan and manage staffing and budget against strategic and tactical development objectives.

Requirements :
- Passion to work in a Technology Startup
- 10+ years experience in full life cycle software development, including 5+ years as a hands-on manager.
- Deep understanding of Open Source technologies J2EE and Web 2.0 technologies.
- Passionate and personal commitment to delivering world-class solutions to the enterprise.
- Drive to build, mentor, and coach great teams, including the ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results.
- Background in Enterprise Content Management, Portal and Business Intelligence applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux and linux based Operating systems and leading J2EE Application Servers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel periodically to development sites, both domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/Engineering preferred).
