Our Mission

Bluenog's mission is to be the leading provider of software and solutions that are focused on customers that are looking to blend commercial and open source technologies. The company's focus is in the Application Infrastructure Software (AIS) space. Our specialty is around Enterprise Portal, Content Management, Business Intelligence and Integration markets. Bluenog employes a singular focus that has provided significant advantages to our clients.

The benefits to commercial software are well-known. There are several benefits to open source software, particularly when used in conjunction with commercial technologies:

  • Responsiveness to internal clients
  • Team-building

At the same time, these benefits of open source can be lost quickly if the support/upgrade infrastructure that is taken for granted in the commercial space is not available. That is where Bluenog comes in. By providing support not only for commercial technologies but also open source, it gives customers the best of both worlds. Access to open source in a supported model (great for the CIO) with access to the source code (great for the IT staff).

Our strategy is to build:

  • The creation of a Commercial Open Source product, based solely on leading open source projects, with enhancements/integration/support/indemnification all provided by Bluenog

  • End-to-end consulting capabilities from architecture, best practices and strategy to post implementation needs
  • Keeping all of this simple - to deliver business value as quickly and seamlessly as possible
