New Practice Led by Florindo Gallicchio Offers Uncompromised Security to All Bluenog IT Solutions

The new practice enables Bluenog Corporation to offer enhanced and uncompromised security IT solutions.
Bluenog’s information security solutions incorporate the industry’s information and technological security standards set forth by U.S. intelligence agencies as well as by U.S. federal regulations in the financial, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Bluenog’s Risk Management & Security team will be led by Florindo Gallicchio who has been appointed head of the new practice. Mr. Gallicchio will be responsible for services in five areas comprised of: Risk and Security Vulnerability Assessments; Compliance Remediation; Security Policy and Standards Development; Secure Architecture Design and Development; and Enterprise Security Management Solutions. He will manage Bluenog’s current security solutions, which include technology offerings in identity management, secure access and enterprise security management.

Florindo Gallicchio has more than twenty-four years in risk management and information security in the government, commercial and consulting sectors. His area of expertise is in developing security programs to meet strategic business, compliance and tactical technology objectives across multiple corporate verticals. He has established, developed and led risk management and security consulting business practices for two northeast U.S. solutions integrators. He holds the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), National Security Agency INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM), and Certified in Homeland Security – Level III (CHS-III). He is a member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), and the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association. Prior to joining Bluenog, Florindo was Melillo Consulting’s senior risk management architect in the Risk Management & Security practice, which he established in 2003. He created and delivered comprehensive risk management and security solutions that helped his clients to securely run their business, achieve and maintain compliance to regulatory and industry requirements, and enable their business to more effectively and efficiently use information technology. Each of his solutions, based on well-known standards and frameworks, were designed to tie directly to the client’s IT governance and strategic initiatives, allowing for the seamless integration of controls into operational processes.
