Michael Forgash, CEO

Mike’s thirty-year career has been in the software and services industry, where as CEO he twice led companies to successful acquisitions and also as the founder of a $70 million venture fund. Mike is a founder and managing partner of Zon Capital Partners, an early-stage venture fund located in Princeton, NJ. Prior to the formation of Zon Capital, Mike was an officer and head of the e-Commerce and Software practice area for Safeguard Scientifics (SFE), a publicly traded (NYSE) venture capital holding company.

 

In his operating career, Mike was President of Continental Healthcare Systems of Overland Park, Kansas, a healthcare information systems and services company. Following the successful sale of Continental, Mike became CEO of Creative Multimedia, an early Internet professional services company located in Portland, Oregon, which designed and delivered Internet solutions for businesses. Mike began his career with Shared Medical Systems, now Siemens, in various implementation and sales roles. Mike sits on the boards of several early-stage technology companies and is the former chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance, the Philadelphia-area venture capital trade association. Mike holds a business degree from Duke University.

Suresh Kuppusamy, Co-Founder & CTO

Suresh is a recognized leader in the enterprise software industry with decades of experience implementing large-scale enterprise projects. Suresh has over 17 years of enterprise software development and sales experience. As Co-Founder of Bluenog, Suresh heads up the Products division of the Company.

 

Before founding Bluenog, Suresh was Solutions Architect for the Eastern Region at BEA Systems. Prior to that he was the Technical Director of Solutions at BroadVision. Suresh played a pivotal role in the sales and product organizations at these companies. Suresh holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Sastry Taruvai, Co-Founder & CIO

As Co-Founder of Bluenog, Sastry is responsible for the Solutions division at the Company. Sastry brings a wealth of senior management consulting experience and achievements to Bluenog. Sastry is a seasoned IT Professional with over 20 years of experience providing top-notch technical leadership.

 

Before founding Bluenog, Sastry was a Technical Architect with BEA Systems, helping BEA Professional Services reach new heights in terms of quality consulting and providing customer value. Prior to BEA, Sastry was Technical Director at BroadVision, helping run the Consulting Practice. Sastry holds dual Master degrees in Computer Science and Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University.

Mike DiPiano, NewSpring Capital

Mike is a General Partner at NewSpring Ventures and the Managing Partner of NewSpring Capital. Prior to joining NewSpring Capital, Mike was a serial entrepreneur and investor. He led or co-led the investment into six companies in the business services, healthcare, and information technology industries. During that time, he was affiliated with Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFG) and their related Funds. Prior to 1996, he spent six years as a division CEO and director of Chemical Leaman Corporation.  Mike started his career in 1980 with Baxter Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: BAX) where he held numerous positions, culminating as Vice President responsible for Operations and Sales of the Industrial Scientific Products Division. He currently serves on the boards of Ecount; Femme Pharma; PACT, formerly known as the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance, which is a trade association representing over 80 Mid-Atlantic-based private equity funds, with approximately $12 billion under management, where he served as the 2005 program year Chairman; NutriSystem (NASDAQ: NTRI); Prescient Applied Intelligences (OTC BB: PPID); and the University City Science Center, where he sits on the investment committee.

Bob Moul

Bob is a Philadelphia tech CEO / entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience in the hi-tech industry ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. As president and CEO of Boomi, he raised the company’s first venture capital and led its transformation to a leading cloud computing provider culminating in a highly successful exit to Dell in November 2010. Prior to that, Bob was president of the global education solutions business at Systems and Computer Technology (SCT), group president at Maximus, and held various senior management positions at EDS including director of operations for EDS Hong Kong and China, and executive director of federal government operations for EDS Australia. Bob graduated from the University of Maryland, University College, with a Master of Science degree in technology management. He is a 2007 alumnus of DC-based Mindshare and was named a 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in Philadelphia.

Anthony Gold, Healthy Humans

Anthony is the CEO of Healthy Humans, a doctor-directed portal helping people with chronic illness lead healthier lives.  Healthy Humans is demonstrating spectacular health outcomes at greatly reduced costs, and has already touched the lives of many people. Prior to this, Anthony was the  Vice president and general manager of open source business at Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS), and he founded and leads Unisys’ global open source practice. Anthony established Unisys’ open source software and services business from the original business plan to strategies for engineering, marketing, channel development, training, sales, delivery, and support. Today, Unisys is one of the largest systems integrators in the open source space. In November of 2008, he was appointed President of the Open Solutions Alliance (OSA), and earlier this year, LinuxWorld Magazine named Anthony one of the “Top Leaders in Open Source Business”.  

 

As well, Anthony is chairman of the CIO Institute for the Eastern Technology Council.  He is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Technology Times bi-monthly publication that serves nearly 200,000 business leaders in the Philadelphia region. Anthony is also an Advisory Board member for the Academy in Manayunk, an educational institution for children with learning disabilities. Previously, Anthony was a vice president and the general manager of the enterprise solutions business systems and technology group at Unisys, where he ran the hardware engineering organization, which invented the ES7000, the world’s first Intel mainframe. He is also a board member of the Open Solutions Alliance, a non-profit organization focused on addressing the challenges of business solution interoperability. He received his B.S.E.E. from Drexel University.

Chris O’Malley, Nimsoft

Chris O’Malley is CEO of Nimsoft. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Chris has held a variety of executive positions at CA Technologies—including EVP of the Cloud Products & Solutions Business Line, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategy for the company’s Cloud Management and IT Management SaaS solutions. He was also involved in the acquisition of Nimsoft by CA Technologies. Earlier, Chris held sales and management positions at Applied Data Research, Inc.

 

Chris graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a BS in computer science. He also participated in executive programs at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and at New York University’s Stern School of Business.  He also is the founder and a board member of the O’Malley Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants scholarships to deserving students.
