Big Data Symposium Release Features Bluenog CEO

09.19.14: Arrow Electronics recently hosted their Big Data Symposium to provide channel partners like Bluenog with a better understanding of Big Data's true potential.

They went on to show how to leverage these solutions in their business analytics portfolios. With over 60 solution providers attending, it was a great opportunity to cement strategies, position markets and identify future direction with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry.

Bluenog's own CEO Sastry Taruvai attended, and was quoted in the release that went out to Yahoo Finance. He was extremely happy with the information obtained at the symposium. “I was familiar with SAS and Hadoop for 'cold' data,” said Sastry Taruvai, CEO, co-founder and president of Bluenog. “However, I learned about a SAS solution for 'hot' data for Oracle, IBM and SAP customers at the Big Data Symposium. It was a real treat to have all these suppliers together, especially to answer specific questions about synergies.”

A Night With Bluenog and the Phillies

08.15.14: In early August, Bluenog and Oracle co-hosted a client appreciation event in Philadelphia, PA.

Attendees were invited to watch the Phillies play from a luxury suite, where we witnessed Ryan Howard hit the game-winning grand slam. Though the first few innings started in the Astros' favor, Howard's home run hit quickly turned the tides helping the Phillies win in the 8th inning. It was definitely exciting to see it first hand, especially with a luxury suite full of men and women from all professional industries screaming their lungs out cheering for the hometown favorites.

We were somewhat wary of hosting a game in the heart of vacation season, but did not need to worry as we wound up having the suite packed with guests from Oracle and Bluenog's contacts. Overall the night was a great success as we networked, discussed future projects, ate great food, and watched the Phillies make an unexpected comeback. What more could you ask for?

Be sure to check our site over the next few weeks as we announce more of our upcoming events!
